Description

A fun, high-energy class taught by CSSMA’s faculty of professional working musicians, World Drumming provides in-depth explorations of the music and rhythms of Africa, Cuba, Brazil, the Middle East, and more. Students will learn foundational rhythms and basic techniques on hand drums, djembe, shakers, and other handheld percussion instruments while studying meter and learning to play together in an ensemble.
